Incident affecting: Northern Quarter, Manchester

We've lost connectivity to a POP in the Northern Quarter, engineers are investigating

Updates(most recent first)

  • Unfortunately the logs do not show any cause for the reboot event. All router heuristics look normal both before and after the event, traffic load was normal and there was no CPU/Memory/IO spike. The router is on UPS protected power and there is no indication of any abnormality in the supply.

There is a pending software update for the device which we will be implementing in the next 2 weeks.

We're also planning a maintenance window for this router in the next 2 months to do a full upgrade of the cabinet to improve airflow.
